UNVEILING THE MIND


We are living in a period of transition when the human mind is uneasy. Altogether with wide possibilities, man struggles in great conflicts. We came to a point, in which depression has been considered the illness of the XXI century, by the World Health Organization. Depression and its correlated diseases are clearly energetic malfunctioning of psyche.
Understanding the new times requires the knowledge of the psychic energy as a physical phenomenon and of the unconscious. This portion of mind has some power which men have always been afraid of facing, and this power is emerging nowadays, individually, as well as, publicly.
The average psychic energy of mankind, the range and abilities of the mind have widened a lot since the beginning of our journey, but we are still in an intermediary stage of development. The first stage of the human mind was just instinct; we were animals. When we acquired the capacity of feeling affections, something like a mental mutation has occurred, and we have jumped in the evolutionary scale. Our second evolutionary stage has appeared with the subjective sensorial capacity; we have developed the capacity of affective response. Through it, we have broadened the energy of the mental system, acquiring rationality, and bringing up the emerging of culture.
In this stage, the human conscious was beginning to exist, but it was still fragile. It was necessary to isolate part of the mind’s content till conscious got strong enough to re-incorporate them. From this stage, the division between conscious and unconscious mind has arisen.
Perhaps the present time represents the beginning of a third stage in our evolution: the rediscovering of the unconscious. The individual conscious has become stronger. We have developed rationality, and as a consequence of it, there comes science. We are in the rational search for the understanding of our nature and of parts of ourselves, which have been hidden.
In this new stage, conscious will be achieving the comprehension of the existence of other energetic levels, and also that a great part of us is guided by the laws of these levels. We are a complex phenomenon. Our body is material, and follows the laws of matter; our mind is the place where matter becomes pure energy in a very special way.
We will finally end up with the idea that only what is concrete is real. Psychic energy will be explained as a physical phenomenon, which is expressed in light. The organism, through chemical processes, produces electric, thermal, and electromagnetic energy. These phenomena are known, and do not surprise us.
Mind, in its subjective and physical aspects added up, is similar to a photoelectric phenomenon, that is, it produces energy in the form of light. We will take R, or psychic radiance, as the energetic level expression of one mind in a certain time. We will start with the analogy with the photoelectric phenomenon:

R is the psychic radiance, or the measure of the mental power expressed in luminous energy. The variable “f”, represents the frequency, which is determined by the sensorial component of mind.
It was observed that by making a light ray shine on a positively charged metal plate, the light pulls out electrons from the plate and put them in movement generating luminous energy. The speed, or the frequency in which the electrons are going to spin, determines the quantity of energy, which will be obtained. This energy will depend on the frequency of the luminous stimulus that has shined on the plate.
In human terms, the luminous ray is represented by the sensation: feelings and sensorial stimuli, such as, touch, smell, sight, pain, etc. The plate is represented by the brain and the memory, which comprises the basic energetic potential.
Each sensation has a particular frequency, which determines the quantity of psychic radiance or energy that will be generated. That is why love, happiness, beauty, perfume, good music, etc, improve the psychic energy, by creating the sensation of pleasure. These are high frequency stimuli. On the other hand, there are the low frequency sensorial stimuli, which make the level of psychic radiance drop down.
Mankind has always been conscious of this fact, so far that the great masters and saints are represented with a luminous circle above their heads. What makes of these individuals luminous beings is an optimization of energy manager, this phenomenon appears through the control of sensation.
