The Logic of Emotion

Dear All, everything I am about to write may sound strange. I am aware of that, I also know how difficult these subjects are to understand, and how even more challenging it is to put this clearly.

In the first part of this work, I present man as a producer of reality. I say that we differentiate ourselves from other species and acquire a vast and rich internal world where apart from the memory of real facts there are our fantasies. I want to show how much this human, supposedly civilized world can be insane as he reached evident levels of discomfort and finds itself in a crisis. I talk about the increase of cases of anxiety and depression and of how our quota which are considered normal is the generator of illness. The things which a society believes become reality for them, therefore this reality created is not always good for man. I compare our progress as a species by the price we pay for it, I question the level of mental sanity of humanity and point out the necessity of looking for new ways, as so many failed, to produce health for everyone on this planet.
Using quotes from Freud who I sincerely admire, as his article, ´The bad health of civilization´ look for the basis to try and explain the roots of the actual state of discomfort which a huge part of society experience the world level. I also made some comments about Brazil and the way in which we behave in relation to others, our difficulty with self-esteem and our immaturity as a nation. I quote the different phases of a child´s development, trying to make an analogy as the development of the species, and, maybe, foresee improvements in our behavior, as the establishment of more mature relationships between human beings.
In the second part, we analyze something more abstract, something which I always avoided, since medicine entered my life.
I was certain I had to follow a logical, scientifically correct path, totally dealing with something as abstract as human emotions, it becomes difficult not to use observations of reality and make hypothesis based on them, so, I present the mind as a receiving device in which various channels can be accessed. Most of the time we synchronize this channel in common in the sense of being ordinary which links us to the concrete life, and guarantee the means of surviving. The dream, the psyche and the altered states of consciousness are moments in which other channels are chosen. Based on the science of physics I suppose that the changing of channels occurs by the changing of the density of the minds energetic field. If the universe is composed of different levels of energy and each one corresponds to a density, our mind would be capable of varying its level of perception according to its energetic state at a given moment. I also suggest that the alterations in the electromagnetic field can bring a concrete proof of these proposals.
Because of this, I was obliged to admit that the mind is a receiving system which is linked to the outside via the five senses and is linked as much to the outside as to the inside via the emotions and memories. Continuing along this line of thought, I tried to propose that the influence of one mind upon another can occur, giving as an example telepathic communication. We would say that our receiver captivates external and internal images, and can captivate others, generated in the mind of another via empathy. And this can occur consciously or asleep or in an altered state of consciousness.
In this work I say that emotion is a basic form of the mental health of a human being, it is this that gave us the privilege of advanced intelligence, but it is also emotion which can cause illnesses of various forms. Special senses more developed in man than in other species, and which makes him stronger but at the same time more vulnerable, depending of the quality of the emotion which dominates in each person. I also said that emotion is simply energy, and the ways in which it appears will depend basically on how the relationships are between the human beings. The future depends on the quality of the emotions of the next generations. Finally, I suggest that the reasons for the ethics are situated in the field of physics. The ultimate reason for ethical behavior is the fact that all human beings have emotions and they can propagate in the form of energy and reach humanity as a whole. The quality of human life depends on the quality of the energetic field created by the human emotions (the collective mind). Emotion is the reason for the differentiation of humanity, it is emotion which activates the consciousness, a brain can even exist without a body, in a lab, but a conscience needs to be recognized itself as well as others, this conscience will only develop through emotion. Only when it feels it exists it relates to other human beings and develops feelings, someone can exist as a conscience, before this, there exists only something like a vegetative life. A brain is capable of keeping the body functioning and have some basic instinctive reactions, but only after developing of the ample and which is emotion, the conscience can get away from the biological base. When we are born, we have a potential, not yet a conscience, it is education which makes us humans. We are born with sufficient energetic potential to lead to emotion and intelligence. We are only potentially human, our lives will determine what we end up being, which emotions will lead us to what. This re-enforces the value of education and the right to spiritual development of each every person. Once a conscience is awakened we are all responsible for it, for its harmony and the growing of all the forces which it is made up of.
